We are pleased to announce that Spring Cloud Task 2.1.0.RELEASE is now available on Github and the Pivotal download repository. Many thanks to all of those who contributed to this release.

What's New?

Spring Cloud Task 2.1.0.RELEASE is intended to be the version of the framework aligned with Spring Boot 2.1.0. Updates from 2.1.x include:

  • Update all dependencies.
  • Spring Cloud Task infrastructure components are now enabled through auto-configuration.
  • The exitCode of a TaskExecution is null when a task is executing.
  • Spring Cloud Task is compatible with Java 8, 9, 10, 11.

On behalf of the community I’m pleased to announce the releases of Spring Session BOM Bean-SR2 (based on Spring Session 2.1.3.RELEASE), Apple-SR8 (based on 2.0.9.RELEASE), and 1.3.5.RELEASE. These maintenance releases bring a couple of bug fixes together with the usual dependency upgrades.

Spring Batch 4.1.1, 4.0.2, and 3.0.10 available now

We are pleased to announce that Spring Batch 4.1.1, 4.0.2, and 3.0.10 are available from repo.spring.io and Maven Central.

These releases contain security and bug fixes as well as dependencies updates. We recommend users upgrade to one of these versions. Please find the change log for each version in the following links: 4.1.1 | 4.0.2 | 3.0.10

As we announced earlier, please note that v3.0.10 is the last planned release for the 3.x line, so we highly recommend users to upgrade to the latest possible version.

P.S.: We have started work on v4.2, which will focus on performance++ ! Stay tuned!
